Founders Dr. Nick Pope and Travis York came together through their shared dedication to quality service, love for animal health care, and desire for a more authentic and curated veterinary practice.
They dreamed up Symbios Animal Health based on their years of Experience in the industry, envisioning a model that is both client- and employee-centric, allowing for a model of care and community that is not only more holistic, but ultimately more wholesome for all involved.

Chief Medical Officer
We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Megan Armani as our Chief Medical Officer. For nearly two decades, Dr. Armani has lived out her passion for helping people through healing their pets. Her vast experience in veterinary medicine includes post-graduate training in internal medicine, emergency-critical care, and leadership of two of her own hospitals in Florida.
Dr. Armani fosters the Human-Animal Bond every day as a practicing veterinarian who cares deeply about the importance this bond carries for all of her clients and their beloved pets. Outside of work, Dr. Armani is an avid runner, skier, tennis player and devoted mother of three wonderful children she raises with her husband.

Maryanne Pavlick began working at her hometown animal hospital as a teenager, which sparked her lifelong passion for animal care. She spent many years in the field of education but remained extensively involved with animal shelters, rescues and sanctuaries as an advocate and volunteer. In 2014 Maryanne returned to the field of veterinary medicine full-time at several hospitals as a Veterinary Technician, caring for surgical patients, hospitalized patients and families who want to provide the best for their pets.

Denise Szewczuk has known her calling in life since she was young, and that calling was to find a career that allowed her live her devotion to animals every day. This lifelong passion has led her to her role as a patient advocate, in addition to living her passion through her career she started rescuing and fostering all types of animals at 16 years old. Denise’s children jokingly say she is operating a small zoo at her house which includes birds, cats, dogs along with other animals that are in need of fostering.
Denise has dedicated her career to being a bond with each of her patients and their owners, allowing her to educate each client can provide their pet the best possible life.

Vincenza Cordasco has always been enthralled by the natural world and all the fascinating animals that inhabit it. As a child she dreamed of growing up to save animals and veterinary medicine has given her the tools to turn that childhood dream into a career. She studied veterinary nursing in an AVMA-accredited technician program and passed the VTNE to become a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in NJ. This however was only the beginning, and she learns every day from every pet and owner.
Vincenza has committed her career to using her technical skills, advanced certifications, and personal touch to make a unique impact on each of her clients that entrust their four-legged family members with her care.
