About symbios animal health

The term "Symbios" is derived from "symbiosis," which originates from the Greek words syn (meaning "together") and bios (meaning "life"). Symbiosis refers to a close and mutually beneficial relationship between two different organisms or entities. In a broader sense, it symbolizes cooperation, partnership, and a harmonious connection that enhances the well-being of both parties.

At Symbios Animal Health, this concept represents more than just the relationship between pets and their veterinary team—it embodies the profound and enduring human-animal bond. Pets are more than companions; they are family, providing unconditional love, joy, and emotional support. In turn, we believe in honoring that bond by delivering compassionate care that strengthens the connection between people and their pets.

Our team works collaboratively with pet families to promote health and happiness, ensuring that this unique partnership thrives at every stage.

SUCCESS STORIES

REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS

My family and I are so grateful to our former vet who recommended Symbios Animal Health in Chatham to us when he retired. The team here is exceptional. They treated our senior dog with so much love and kindness in her final year. The care is personalized, so each vet and vet tech knew our dog by name and knew her health history. (We wish we could go to the vet for our health care!) We also opted to pay for the less-expensive concierge plan, which lasted...

Symbios Animal Health - Chatham

Symbios Animal Health is the absolute best! I rescued a shelter dog and initially brought her to another vet. I didn’t feel like my pup was getting the best care and made the transfer here. Best decision I’ve ever made! The entire team is fantastic! From the second I walk in, they are making sure my pup is comfortable. They get right on the floor with her, offer toys and treats and form a bond with her. The doctors and supporting team are so knowledgeable and spend so...

South Branch Veterinary Services

Recently switched to South Branch for my three dogs. We were treated like longtime clients from the first phone call for an appointment.  The staff at the front desk are smiling and so helpful. The techs are genuinely caring. Both veterinarians I have had the pleasure of meeting were just great with my girls and with me. I would recommend South Branch highly.

Our third dog and we remain at HHAH. The staff are kind, great listeners and always happy to see your pet. Dr Mark is wonderful and is so very patient. He shares nuggets of pet behavior that have helped us understand our third rescue.  I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I challenge anyone to find a more caring and thoughtful veterinarian anywhere. Been using the good doctor for many years and make the :30 minute journey because he and staff are that good.

Blaicher Veterinary Health Care

We love Blaicher Veterinary because Blaicher loves our dog!!For as long as I can remember, it's been difficult to find a vet who cared about our pets as much as we did. Before finding this family-owned vet, I had walked through a lot of others that seemed more concerned about how I was going to pay than the wellness of my four-legged friends. Thankfully I can now rest assured when I walk through he front door at Blaicher, knowing that my dog...

Blaicher Veterinary Health Care

I really like Clover Hill. We have moved around a bunch over the last few years, and my dog has seen a lot of vet staff. Clover Hill is among the best we've seen: very compassionate, easily accessible, and thoughtful. Perhaps more importantly, the staff here make you feel like you're deciding on your pet's treatment TOGETHER.

Clover Hill Animal Hospital

They helped me through a very difficult time with my newly adopted Min Pin. He had a serious condition and needed life saving surgery. They helped me make the decision to have the surgery at Garden State Veterinary Hospital. They negotiated a price for the surgery from an experienced surgeon. We needed to give him oxygen and rigged his crate with my portable oxygennator for the trip to South Jersey. We were able to save his life and he is...
